We give thanks for a God who is bigger than all the brokenness of our world.  Our vision is to help our neighbors grow closer to God through an experience with His love.  

We do that by delivering a meal to anyone who asks for it on Thanksgiving Day.  We do that by taking time to ask how they're doing.  We do that by praying with them.  We do that by giving of our time to show them that they are special.

We rejoice that so many of you experienced God's love this past Thanksgiving.  We heard this from Tracey who received a meal.  “You cannot begin to imagine the beautiful impact your kindness and generosity made on this Thanksgiving Day 2022,” Tracey told us. “Thank you for the time, love, prayers, energy and expense you shared in bringing this to me.”  

The recipients of these meals and the teams that delivered them experienced God's love in a huge way.

We want to join Tracey in thanking everyone who makes Feeding Farmville possible.  Paul’s words to the Philippians seem so appropriate:  

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”  

We thank the Lord for each of you.  For the leaders who served faithfully in the past.  For the new leaders who God raised up this year.  For businesses who used their talents to bless us.  For friends who gave of their time.  For people and businesses that supported us financially.  For everyone who prayed and baked and packed and delivered.  For those that stepped up when we had a chicken shortage, a bean shortage and a driver shortage.  For each of you we join Paul in thanking God because each of you is a gift from Him and an expression of His great love for us. 

Thank you for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.  What a joy it is to see God faithfully providing all that we need and so much more through each of you!

God's not done!  What we did for Thanksgiving 2022 God wants to do every day of the year.  It’s absolutely spectacular!  Nothing is too big for God.  

How can you be a part of that?  We want to encourage you to keep looking to see what God is doing.  God is at work all around you to care for His creation - through teachers who serve student and doctors who care for their patients, and through you.  Then give thanks for to God for the many ways that He continues to care for you and the people around you!
